Feel the wind in your hair in the new BMW 1-Series convertible. This nimble sports car comes in three trim levels. The 128i and 128i SULEV share the same inline-six found in the larger BMW 328i that outputs 230 hp. While the 135i gets a turbocharged six-cylinder that makes 300 hp.
A 6-speed manual transmission is standard equipment on all 1-Series cars, but there are automatic transmission options available. The 128i and 128i SULEV can be ordered with a 6-speed automatic, and the 135i can come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Common to all trim levels of the 1-Series convertible are an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio with auxiliary input, light weight alloy wheels, no-cost leather seats, fold-down rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 8-way adjustable front seats. And naturally, BMW offers many additional options.

 Driving enthusiasts will love the 2011 BMW 135i convertible for its nimble handling, powerful engine, and open air cockpit. It has a 300 horsepower turbocharged flat-six under the hood and a six speed manual transmission changes the gears. There is an option on the BMW 135i convertible to have a fast shifting seven speed dual-clutch automatic as well.
The BMW 135i convertible comes with some exterior and interior improvements over the 128i convertible. Outside, it receives 18” star spoke alloy wheels, xenon adaptive headlights with auto-leveling, headlight washers, a sport tuned suspension, and an aerodynamic kit with rear spoiler. Inside the cabin there is gray polar wood trim, and a 2-way power glass moonroof.
